Alpha helical hydrophilic LBC is conserved among vertebrates and expressed in skeletal muscle, heart, lung, and hematopoietic cells. It contains phosphorylation sites, N-terminal DH and PH domains, and an N-terminal EF-hand motif. LBC binds to PKA RII tethering it near substrates. AKAP13 stimulates RHO/RAC, but not CDC42 or RAS.
