1. ORP _ Pharmacy/treatment order acknowledgment
(UMLS (HL7) C1549246) =Health Care Activity =Event Type;
5. orphan drug
[A compound or product that demonstrates promise for the diagnosis and/or treatment of rare diseases and conditions that affect fewer than 200,000 people. The U.S. Orphan Drug Act (1983) encourages development of these therapeutics by tax breaks and a seven-year monopoly on drug sales. These incentives promote the development and manufacturing of such therapeutics, which otherwise might not be profitable because of the small potential market. ( NCI )] (UMLS (CSP) C0013232) =Pharmacologic Substance
2. ORP33
[ ] (UMLS (CSP) C0599793) =Amino Acid, Peptide, or Protein; Enzyme
6. Orphan Nuclear Receptor Gene
[Orphan Nuclear Receptor Genes (NR Superfamily) encode numerous Orphan Nuclear Receptor (NRs) transcription factors thought to be activated by as yet unknown ligands. Transducing cellular signals into gene transcription, NRs regulate development, pattern formation, cell proliferation, cell differentiation, and homeostasis in target tissues. NRs share a common organization: an (N) modulatory domain, a conserved central Cys-rich region of two C4 zinc fingers that bind to specific upstream ligand-responsive target DNA elements, and a (C) ligand-binding domain. Stabilizing hydrophobic zinc finger interactions contribute to DNA binding specificity, homodimerization, and interaction with other proteins. Ligand-bound NR conformation allows coactivator interaction with the ligand-binding domain that mediates interaction with heat shock proteins, cyclophilins, and ligand. (NCI) ( NCI )] (UMLS (NCI) C1335143) =Gene or Genome ;
3. orphan disease
[Rare diseases that have not been well studied. ( MSH )] (UMLS (CSP) C0920627) =Disease or Syndrome ;
7. orphanage
[Institutions for the housing and care of orphans, foundlings, and abandoned children. They have existed as such since the medieval period but the heading is applicable to such usage also in modern parlance. ( MSH )] (UMLS (CSP) C0337651) =Manufactured Object; Organization
4. orphan disease/drug
[rare diseases and the drugs and other products related to them, so called because development is not profitable; note that this term has nothing to do with orphan children. ( CSP )] (UMLS (CSP) C0178786) =Intellectual Product =Disease;
drug design/synthesis/production
8. ORPHENADRINE
[A muscarinic antagonist used to treat drug-induced parkinsonism and to relieve pain from muscle spasm. ( MSH )] (UMLS (NCI) C0029309) =Organic Chemical; Pharmacologic Substance ;
=Benzhydryl Compounds;
Ethylamines;
[MS200] SKELETAL MUSCLE RELAXANTS;
=Ethanamine, N,N-dimethyl-2-((2-methylphenyl)phenyl)methoxy)-, 2-hydroxy-1,2,3-propanetricarboxylate(1:1);
ORPHENADRINE HYDROCHLORIDE;
Ethanamine, N,N-dimethyl-2-((2-methylphenyl)phenyl)methoxy)-, 2-hydroxy-1,2,3-propanetricarboxylate(1:1);
