Annamycin Liposomal
[A liposome-encapsulated form of the antineoplastic antibiotic annamycin. Annamycin intercalates into DNA and interacts with topoisomerase II, thereby inhibiting DNA replication and repair and RNA and protein synthesis. This agent also circumvents multidrug-resistance (MDR) transporters, including p-glycoprotein.
