[Differentially expressed in T lymphocytes in small intestine and colon as well as in thymus, lymph nodes, and spleen as two variants by human CCR9 Gene (GPCR1/Beta Chemokine Receptor Family), C-C Chemokine Receptor Type 9 is a seven transmembrane G protein-coupled receptor and regulator of thymocyte migration/recruitment and development that may promote specialization of immune responses and inflammation in different regions of the gastrointestinal tract.
