[Tumors of the penis make up approximately 1% to 1.5% of cancers in the male population in the United States and Europe. Risk factors include: phimosis (narrowing of the foreskin or prepuce) and Human Papilloma Viruses. The majority of penile cancers are squamous cell carcinomas.
